Comfort is key: Make sure the shaper fits snugly but does not restrict your breathing or movement.

Portion control: Since shapers compress the abdomen, eating very large meals while wearing one may feel uncomfortable. It’s best to have moderate portions.

Type of shaper matters: Some high-compression or waist-cinching shapers may feel tighter during meals. For long hours, consider wearing a medium-compression shaper for comfort.
